WA112 : Port Angeles WA - SanJuan/Whatcom/Skag..., Vereinigte Staaten November 20, 2014 - 4.0
This is an excellent super twisty road through the forests along the coast, has some great switchbacks with good changes in elevation in some of the turns. Watch for deer, but you won't be disappointed.
Olympic Peninsula WA - SanJuan/Whatcom/Skag..., Vereinigte Staaten November 27, 2014 - 4.0
A great ride out to the tip of the Olympic Peninsula. Beautiful coastal scenery and amazing views if you hike out to the tip of the park at the end of the road. See pics below.
From Nooksack continue on south pass to Silver lake, Maple fall the onto Mount Baker Park. Once in the park take the narrow, mostly paved road to Heliotrop ridge.
The Spirit lake Highway. About 50 miles of great motorcycling road. Take exit 46 from Interstate 5 and keep heading east until the road stops. See the lake and the mountain, well worth it
Quite narrow and hectic in places, advise not to try and race the locals or you might end up going over the edge. A great ride, but not for the faint hearted.
Washington Forest Road 25 in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest is an often overlooked gem for motorcycle riders. Arguably the best Washington road for both curves and scenery, and with less traffic than the usually top rated Highway 2. One of the reasons that it may be less well-known among ride...
Nice scenic section with elevation changes, I understand that part of it was closed for a while because of flood damage but I think it is open again now.
Love to do this one when I'm getting squirrelly. Used to do it on the Street Glide I had with friends on sport bikes. But the bike is gone now and will be doing it as soon as my new Multistrada 1200 gets here! Very few cops(occasional presence), challenging twisties and scenery makes this one a must...
Hood Canal Loop WA - GraysHarbor/Thurston..., Vereinigte Staaten April 16, 2011 - 4.0
This is really two different rides that can be combined into an awesome day trip. Starting at the Hood Canal floating bridge head west and find Thorndyke and Coyle roads, two rural roller coasters. Keep your speed reasonable through the few residential areas and riders should continue to see a minim...
Start in Gig Harbor and explore the Olympics and Henderson Bay via the 101. Nice variety of curves, straights and speeds. Perfect road condition with amazing scenery. My wife and I did it this weekend on the cruiser and had a beautiful day.
Monroe - Granite Falls WA - GraysHarbor/Thurston..., Vereinigte Staaten Marz 10, 2012 - 3.0
Local traffic is usually running 10MPH over the speed limit. there a a few stop signs and lots of driveways. Just keep you speed respectful around the homes and we all will have a good time.
1/4 mile in on the Leavenworth end just before the railroad overpass is a gravel road, the first house (gray with green trim) belongs to my parents, my dad (Gary)is a huge bike nut, stop in and say hi, he would love it, or just make his day and make some noise on your way buy!
Leave the highways behind on this fantastic route between two major cities
The 200 mile route leaves Portland along the Lewis Clarke Evergreen highway on the Washington side of the Columbia River. It then heads north on the amazing WA25 Forest Road, an American Classic with some of the best corners...
Simple loop through Capitol Forest. Some great views. Have a map it\\\'s easy to get lost in Capitol Forest. Take your time and enjoy. At the end of the loop, stop in a Buzz\\\'s Tavern. Great food.
Great way to see the headwaters of some large S end rivers. You go up the Skokomish river, cross the Satsop headwaters, then into the Wynoochee. Coho Park on Lake Wynoochee is a great stop as is Spider Lake. Spoon Creek Falls is beautiful. Wynoochee River Road is good pavement. Stop at the Bee ...
Stop at Hofstadt Observatory for an amazing lunch on their deck. The view is amazing and the food is awesome. The elk burger is a favorite. They open in early April.
The ride parallels the Toutle River, and the destruction from the volcano eruption in 1980 is still evident. And, even t...

A nice way to get from US 12, Backwood over to near Mt Rainier National Park. Can be part of a nice loop which includes the Paradise Road.
Road is quite bumpy with frost heaves and pot holes so take it easy. Might be some gravel on corners too. Lots of places to stop and camp if interested. ...
Scenic forest ride through Capitol Forest that's all paved and good for a street bike. Parts of the road are single lane with pull outs. The road through Capitol Forest travels along Cedar Creek. Temperatures will drop between 5-7F because of the creek and deep woods. At times it's like riding in ...
A nice alternative to driving US 12 between Chehalis and Morton. There's not a lot of traffic and some good scenery of woods and farms. As you near the town of Morton the road narrows a bit and goes through some deep woods and along the Tieton River. There are a few nice corners. If you got a GS bi...
A nice loop around the rural backroads of Thurston county and a part of Lewis county. Ride through woods, farms, by and creeks. Not too much traffic. Some nice corners in places. Be careful of farm machinery in places. Plenty of places to stop and take breaks. Great ride on a sunny afternoon.

A nice alternative to the busy stop-n-go state highways 161 and 162 that are just west. This road winds along through the woods, rivers, and lakes. There are plenty of places to stop and enjoy the scenery or take a break. I really enjoy this road because there's hardly any traffic and it is so rura...
Road Highway nine from Lake Stevens to Sedro Wooley River Park. Great ride, no traffic, freshly redone roads. Great ride through a couple of Lake areas and through old logging area.
This loop is something I use to do in my car back in my high school days, but now I can take my bike. This loop starts you off in Fairwood, heading east, then loops you right back to where you started. The majority is long straightaways but, taking the cut off of SE Lake Youngs Rd and Swee...

The Lewis Calrk to Evergreen Highway takes you nicely East opposite the Interstate mostly. This road takes in the Columbia river gorge, popular with local bikers.
