I rode this ride north just to Grangeville on our way to Lolo Pass, so I´ll comment on the southern and middle section of this ride. This ride is nice and average with some nice turns and some nice straight-aways. The road is good quality. My comments review is aimed at an exceptionally special section on switchbacks above the town Whitebird. If you like Alp like twisties this is a must ride and makes the rest of the decent trip completely amazing. Swicthbacks like these don´t come around often enough. My son and I basically raced our way through without seeing a single car. I´ll be back next time I´m in the area.
Fantastic selection of sweepers, climbing and falling with good surface with great views of the Salmon River Valley. Surely one of the best roads in this area.
